Back to the Studio

I went to the photo studio for the 1st time this year.  I took a few pictures of car accessories for my friend Chris to sell on ebay, but since my other friend Bridgette was with me we took a few pictures (a few = 5 or 6 total).  Here's one of Bridgette giving me a silly smile while using the strobes and one of the car shifter in the box I took for Chris.

Look What I Got!

I was walking in the garage after class and found a hummingbird flying around.  It couldn't get out so after watching it for a few minutes, I had to catch it to release it outside. I ended up attaching a fishing net to the end of a broom handle and the hummingbird flew in voluntarily.  In the picture you can see a tiny drop of blood at the end of its beak from running into the walls so many times.  From what I know it was fine though.  The hummingbird just seemed out of breath once I caught it.  I took it out into the driveway and gently poked it once.  This caused it to snap back to reality and the hummingbird flew away.

Assignment #1

The assignment was to take a 2 shots w/ aperture adjustments, 2 shots with shutter speed adjustments, and one panning shot. Here's what I got!
